The ideal battery for a 200 mile commute
A tip from an Insight fan led me to call the Kokam battery company.
http://www.kokam.com/english/product/battery_main.html
I got to speak with two of the owners, they seem like a nice small company, with a great product.
I will be discussing the project with them over the next few days, to see if we can find a way to get some of those cells in my Insight. 18 200AH cells would do it, or 180 20 AH cells.
No response from them, so It looks like I am back to Lead Acid. Bummer!
