Western Washington University X-Prize car

The Team from WWU called me several weeks ago on a Saturday AM, and asked me to design and build a speedometer to analog converter circuit for them, so they could get through the pre-race trials.
I whipped one up while two of their team drove from Detroit to pick it up. A week later the team leader called me and asked if they could hire me to get the IMA system in their scratch built carbon fiber beauty running correctly. They could not put in MIMA, as they have to keep the car as it was when inspected.
We all had a great time, and was a real consulting job to boot.
We straightened out the IMA, added cooling to dc/dc converter, Inverter,Battery Pack, and EV motor.
