I am contemplating all the options, It is a shame to waste the 90 boards,just because a few parts have become obsolete, when the boards could be saving gas in someones insight. I have ordered some other relays and components and will tinker with making them fit the board.
The MIMA CL system approach could be an interesting way to make the DIY MIMA a less intimidating task.
What you do is only populate the base MIMA components, so you can get up and running with only a few parts and wires to connect.
The migration to the full MIMA functionality could be incremental.
Basic MIMA manual Joystick control,
mode 1 IMA lock out, and a version of Joylock that unlocks when the joystick is moved out of center. The display shows amount of assist or regen that the joystick request.
Connection to the MAP and VSS gives PIMA functionality
Connection to Current probe gives real time current feedback via the display
Connection to the fan and installing the battery and MPI temp probes fives fan control.
The calibration mode is supported so joystick calibration is available on all versions.
